Council to read and adopt new Cemetery Management and Fee Bylaws
The Special Council will give the first three readings of the Nelson Cemetery Management Bylaw No. 3668, 2026 and the accompanying Fees & Charges Amendment Bylaw No. 3669, 2026. It will also approve advancing the Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project by directing staff to submit a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity application to the BCUC. Additional items include a letter to federal and provincial governments on the Build Communities Strong Fund and a resolution to hold part of the meeting in‑camera for confidential negotiations.
