Conseil à approuver les états financiers audités de 2025
Le Conseil votera sur l'approbation des états financiers provisoires de 2025 de la Ville de Powell River. Les états financiers indiquent une augmentation de 5,3 M$ de la trésorerie et des placements, une augmentation de 3 M$ des réserves et une diminution de 1 M$ de la dette à long terme. Les dépenses en capital réelles s'élevaient à 5,7 M$ contre un budget de 36,8 M$, le projet de toiture du Centre aquatique étant reporté en attente de financement par des subventions.

Conseil fixera les taux d'imposition foncière de 2026, premières lectures du règlement
Le Conseil donnera les trois premières lectures au Règlement sur les taux d'imposition foncière de 2026, qui fixe les taux d'imposition municipaux et perçoit les prélèvements pour le district régional de qathet et d'autres autorités. Le règlement doit être adopté d'ici le 15 mai. Le prélèvement du district régional de qathet diminue d'environ 10,6 % en raison des reports de surplus.
