Thank you. A male was identified, arrested and charged. The vehicle was subsequently returned to the Erdree resident on damaged. Crew members completed surveillance on drug trafficking suspects in high crime areas within the city of Erdree. And for your awareness, during quarter three and a little bit of quarter four, the crime reduction team at the time had been absolved back into their patrol group. So those stats were a little bit, don't really capture what their actual responsibilities were during that period. I can say they've been, during my time here since January, have been highly engaged in targeting prolific offenders and, you know, executing search warrants. We did a search warrant roundup in February, where we took off some very, some very bad people off the street. With regards to our general investigation section, they took carriage of a robbery that occurred at a credit union within the city. The suspect was identified, charged on the robbery, and two subsequent other robberies in the Calgary urban area. The suspect subsequently left the country and we applied for a Canada-wide apprehension warrant and are currently going through the extradition process to have him arrested and returned. Unit investigated a home invasion in Erdree. Multiple interviews were completed and significant number of judicial authorizations were executed. That investigation is ongoing. We seized during a search warrant 16 weapons and ammunition with charges recommended to Crown for weap …

Thank you. Yeah. Thank you. local program coordinator can strengthen our volunteer base and improve the availability and reliability of rides in Airdrie. This would be through increased capacity. There would be more time to recruit and retain volunteers, which would then in turn reduce unmet ride requests. It would increase the availability for the clients and expand that capacity to support the continued growth and demand that we've seen year over year since we started. It will also improve access and connection. There will be more access to specialized medical appointments, reduce barriers to preventative and ongoing care, hopefully fewer missed appointments, increased access to basic needs, and then the increased ability to remain in the community. And lastly, it will assist with our program delivery. A dedicated program coordinator embedded in the city of Airdrie will help to create stronger partnerships with local organization and really strengthen our volunteer program, in turn allowing us to help more older adults within the community. This would ensure long-term program growth, which can be built on our existing infrastructure. And then the next slide, please. This funding request is focused specifically on this local expansion within Airdrie. We already have our centralized systems, including dispatch , scheduling, software, administration, and onboarding through our Edmonton office, ensuring operational efficiency and consistency. The requested investment enables lo …

Thank you. Good evening, everybody. Thank you so much for your patience. We are going to get things going today for Tuesday, June the 16th, 2026. The time is 1.07 p.m. So just a bit of housekeeping and of course our land acknowledgement. It is with gratitude and respect that we acknowledge that we are situated on Treaty 7 territory, the traditional and ancestral lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy, including the Siksika, Bigani and Gainai Nations, as well as the Tsutsina Nation and the Stony Nakoda Nations, comprising the Bearsp aw, Chiniki and Good Stony Nations. And we also recognize the Ota Pemsiwak Métis Government District 4, which is Rocky View as part of this land's history and present. And of course it is Indigenous history month. So there's lots going on across the country and certainly in our own region regarding the history of the peoples that came before us. And June 21st is Indigenous Peoples Day and there will be lots going on at Nose Creek Park and at the library and across town. So I hope that you'll take a moment to be a part of that if you find yourself with a bit of time. It's always an uplifting and interesting time. I'd also like to provide the gallery with some general housekeeping information. So if you haven't been here before, the washrooms are actually just located down this hallway here to the left as you exit Council Chambers. And in the event of a fire alarm or need to evacuate Council Chambers, exits are located to your right, the front doors, and …

At that time, administration did receive 13 applications from nine different organizations, and in March of this year, seven organizations were allocated their approval for funding. Last month, we received an inquiry from the Airdrie Meals on Wheels organization curious and interested in hearing about the status of their application for the community building grant. After a thorough review of all documentation and correspondence, administration unfortunately could not locate any application from the recipient. So we contacted the city's ITG department and conducted a more thorough and comprehensive review, and we determined that there was a technical error on the back end, and the applicant did in fact complete and submit an application within the required timelines. Unfortunately, it just didn't make its way to the social planning department. So the application for the Airdrie Meals on Wheels, because they were within the dedicated time frame with their application, they had requested to host two appreciation luncheons and provide tokens of appreciation to all of their volunteers in the amount of $7,500. Administration reviewed a …

or stand down. Okay. All right, good morning, everyone. So we're going to start the Community Corporate Services Committee meeting, but before we do that, I'd like to offer up a land acknowledgement. Is Councillor Glass online still? Okay. Yeah, I'm here, Councillor Stewart. Okay, good. Yeah, so we may have some technical difficulties. Hopefully it holds if Councillor Glass does. If you disconnect there, Chris, we're going to have to stop the meeting just because we won't have quorum without you. Okay? No pressure. Yeah, no problems. Okay, great. So the land acknowledgement. We also recognize the O2 Pemsoak Métis Government District 4, Rocky View, as part of this land's history and present. We'd also like to provide the gallery with some housekeeping information. So washrooms are located down the hallway to the left as you exit council chambers. In the event of a fire alarm or a need to evacuate council chambers, exits are located to your right at the front doors, to your left at the end of the hallway that runs parallel to council chambers.
