In a spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honor and acknowledge Mitus and the traditional treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Sika, Kaii, Beckani, Leal, Nakakota nations, Chiniki, Beerspawa, Good Stony, and Sutina Nation. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Matei government of the Matei Nation with Alberta District 4. And finally, we acknowledge all nations, indigenous and non who live, work, and play on this land and who honor and celebrate this territory. This sacred gathering place provides us with an opportunity to engage in and demonstrate leadership on reconciliation and we are honored to have you join us on Treaty 7 territory. Looking for uh additions approval of the agenda. I do know that we have two additions that are coming to uh the agenda this morning. Uh if we could just have that on the screen please. The Governance and Priorities Committee will hear updates from several advisory committees and review minutes from recent meetings. It will consider a draft amendment to the Business License Bylaw (Bylaw #027-26) presented by the Development & Building Services manager. Council approved a land use bylaw amendment to rezone a property in Clearwater Park to R-3. Several capital projects were removed from the 2026 budget, including a roundabout, while funding for intersection upgrades was increased. Council also authorized two new RCMP constable positions for traffic services.
