In preparation for the site walk here are some general precautions:
Sturdy boots – lands are uneven and wet, and there may be the occasional steep bank that needs to be navigated e.g. municipal drain banks
Gloves – as protection against thorny plants, poison ivy, and insects
Permethrin treated clothing and DEET bug spray – protection against insects and ticks in particular
Protective eye-wear – the thickets are dense in some places and there are many hazard branches that could cause eye injuries

Mayor Redekop advised that, following discussion at the previous Council
meeting, staff have proceeded with filing an application under the Development
Charge Reduction Program. The application will be processed alongside other
