- Okay. Good morning, everybody. I'd like to call this Committee of the Whole meeting for Tuesday, July 14th, 2026 to order. Item number one, public information notice as required under Notice By-law 50-2026. The public is advised of council's intention to adopt the following at its July 21st, 26th meeting, except the 2025 audited financial statements. Item number two, land acknowledgement, if we could stand for Councilor Koch, please. - We gather today on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe stewards of these lands and waters since time immemorial within Treaty Three territory, lands which are home to Wajishkanigam, Nisachewan and Woshagam-Isbay First Nations. We honor the Métis people whose presence is equally woven into this region. The TRC's call to action reminds us that recognition must be followed by action, by genuine relationship building, by honoring our treaty responsibilities, and by confronting the ongoing legacy of colonization, including residential schools. This acknowledgement is therefore offered as commitment, not formality. May the decisions made in these chambers reflect that commitment. May the decision made in these chambers. - We know on the agenda, item number three, we have declaration of pecuniary interest and the general nature thereof. Any council wish to declare pecuniary interest and the general nature thereof on today's agenda? Seeing none. From a meeting at which a member was not in attendance? Also seeing none. Item number four, confi …

I also wanted to just call, roll call, just to ensure that we do have quorum tonight. So would you please just state your name? Linda Mitchell. Kerik Funk. And I'm Tara Rickaby. Alright, so I just want to make sure that everybody understands that when it comes time for public comments, for those people who are attending virtually, if you could just put your hand up and then we'll be able to see that and we'll let you come forward and speak. And for those of you who are in attendance here, if you wouldn't mind just please putting your hands up and then coming up to the podium and using the microphone. And everybody, please state your full name and address before speaking. Decisions tonight will be mailed or emailed to the applicant, agent, and to all other interested parties who provided their mailing address and/or email address to the Secretary-Treasurer. Van Belleghem _____________________________________________________________________ 1. Public Planning Statutory Reports 1.1 D14-25-06 – Temporary Use Zoning By-Law – 88 Jakson Road The Applicant Michael Anderson is a business owner from Winnipeg, MB. Dream to own a lake property and build a home for retirement. Purchased the lot at 88 Jakson Road in 2021. Over the last few years we have been slowly developing the property, installing a septic field, approved by the health department, brining in electrical and water with the hopes of eventually building our home on that property. We were notified this summer that of course that was not in compliance. We have taken the appropriate steps since that time, including our application for temporary use. That application as you reviewed, to have the RV remain on the property until its removal no later that October 31, of this year. We anticipate beginning construction fall of 2026.
