Call the meeting to order. This is the Township Barreto Lakes Committee of the Whole meeting. It is Monday, August the 10th, 2026. It is 10 a.m. and I'm in the municipal office here in Chantry. And I will start again by encouraging and warning members to behave responsibly and respect each other. This is what our staff and the public expect of us. Negative remarks directed to other members of council speaking over each other or without recognition by the chair will not be tolerated. Going forward, I will diligently be enforcing the municipal act as it pertains to the jurisdiction of the head of council. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Roll call, Madam Clerk. All members are in attendance virtually, including the CAO and the mayor and the clerk are in attendance in council chambers. Thank you. Any emergency additions or amendments to the councilor? Councilor Banks? Councilor Banks? Okay. Council or Paula Banks, I take it? I do not see the name. Yes. I would like to speak to Mayor Burroughs' false comments and the local media coverage at some point in the agenda. I'm not sure where the clerk would like to put that. Okay. Do you want to include it under the ALTO update? It's with respect to ALTO, is it not ? As long as those two issues can be covered, sure. Thank you. We'll cover that? I would say it could be covered under the CAO's report. Or the CAO's report? CAO has a report under 14.1.1. Okay. Thank you, Mary Ellen. Okay. Okay. We'll cover it there. Under 14.1. An …

We do have regrets from Mayor Harry Hoogenboom today. Councillor Debbie Hutchings and Councillor Paula Banks have joined us remotely and everyone else is in in attendance. Thank you. Are there any additions or amendments to the agenda? Hearing and seeing none. So now for disclosure of pecuniary interest. Does anyone have any conflicts? And again, here's the So, we have to go to the agenda. And again, hearing and seeing none. So, we will... Chair, can we have a move on second to adopt the agenda? I'll adopt the agenda. Okay. Oh, you know what? Okay. Moved by Councillor Hutchings and seconded by Councillor Ron Pollard. They have resolved that the Economic Development Committee adopt the agenda as presented. All in fa …
