The motion carried with opposition from Mayor Henderson and Councillor McLauchlan. Other items were informational only, including a delegation from the Suncoast Racquet Club and an update from the new Community Safety Coordinator.

Council also directed staff to write a letter urging the provincial government to extend and make permanent the Local Government Climate Action Program funding, with Councillor McLauchlan opposed.
