Armstrong Spallumcheen Parks and Recreation Commission

The Armstrong Spallumcheen Parks and Recreation Commission meets Monday, September 28, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Sunbelt Arena, 3351 Park Drive, Armstrong BC. The commission will receive a 2026 financial report for January to August 31, 2026, and consider approving a refurbished Memorial Park entrance sign at 3285 Pleasant Valley Road with the addition of "Veterans Way." It will also review a draft Parks and Recreation Fees and Charges Bylaw, a structural condition assessment of the Armstrong Spallumcheen Outdoor Pool, and a verbal report recommending cancellation of the October 19, 2026 meeting due to the 2026 General Local Election on October 17, 2026.

• Reallocation of up to $20,000 in unused 2026 capital funding to purchase a truck-mounted sander, with up to $10,000 in expected annual operational savings
• Approval of Memorial Park entrance sign refurbishment at 3285 Pleasant Valley Road and addition of "Veterans Way," funded through the 2026 Operating budget

Rose Swanson Planned Harvest Select Committee Meeting

The Rose Swanson Mountain Planned Harvest Select Committee is meeting to discuss the Hydrologic Risk Assessment for the Rose Swanson Watersheds.
