Le groupe de travail examine les données de rémunération de sept communautés de comparaison (Comox, Dawson Creek, Parksville, Powell River, Revelstoke, Summerland, Williams Lake) afin d'envisager des recommandations pour le conseil municipal de Terrace en 2026. Ils discuteront également de savoir si les postes sont à temps plein ou à temps partiel, de la rémunération basée sur le salaire ou sur la présence, du nombre de conseillers municipaux, de l'assiette fiscale foncière et des limites d'âge pour les prestations de l'UBCM. Le Conseil tiendra une audience publique sur une modification de zonage proposée pour le 4404 Thomas Street. Le demandeur cherche à rezoner la propriété de 1,8 hectare de Rural (AR2) à Résidentiel Suburbain Rural (RS1) afin de permettre un lotissement en deux parcelles pour qu'un membre de la famille puisse construire une maison. L'audience est une étape avant la troisième lecture et l'adoption du règlement.
