The Timmins Police Service Board will consider approving the 2025 Annual Missing Person Report and the First Aggregate Discipline Measures Report for 2026, which details disciplinary actions taken without hearings. We have come together on this land now called Timmins. These
lands where we live, work and play hold the ancestral
connections and stories of Indigenous peoples since time
immemorial.
We acknowledge that we are situated in Treaty 9 territory, a place
that is the traditional land of the Mattagami and Flying Post First
Nations. Steeped in rich indigenous history with living culture that
continues today.
We are grateful to continue to build the much needed
relationships with our Indigenous Partners on their land and to

Council to vote on $1.3M in contracts and borrowing for capital projects
Council will first hold a closed meeting to discuss land acquisitions in Tisdale and Mountjoy townships. The open session includes reports on purchasing a used landfill compactor, replacing airport HVAC units, advancing the Whitney-Tisdale pollution control plant study, and rezoning 324 Feldman Road. Council will also consider motions to approve noise exemptions for a private event and a Sundance ceremony, a $150,000 grant from accommodation tax funds, and a request for a report on lowering the speed limit on Airport Road. Several by-laws for financing capital projects, including the Golden Manor redevelopment and road work, are scheduled for final readings.

We have come together on this land now called Timmins. These
lands where we live, work and play hold the ancestral
connections and stories of Indigenous peoples since time
immemorial.
We acknowledge that we are situated in Treaty 9 territory, a place
that is the traditional land of the Mattagami and Flying Post First
Nations. Steeped in rich indigenous history with living culture that
continues today.
We are grateful to continue to build the much needed
relationships with our Indigenous Partners on their land and to
have the opportunity to work together to preserve peace for all in
