The Whitewater Region Council will receive a draft Waste Management By‑law and decide whether to add a $446 annual fee for Industrial Commercial and Institutional Recycling Collection. It will also vote to designate Lots 8 & 9 (Plan 49M‑30) and Lot 5 (Plan 49M‑9) as not subject to Part‑Lot Control. Additional items include receiving a draft Debt Management Policy and a resolution supporting the Association of Ontario Road Supervisors.

Council to vote on $318,780 waste hauling contract extension
Council will consider a one-year extension of the curbside waste collection contract with Miller Waste Systems at a cost of $318,780.94. Other decisions include a supplemental subdivision agreement for the Vereyken Subdivision, an auto extrication services agreement with Head, Clara and Maria, and a change order for the Beachburg Water Treatment Plant. A petition requesting reconstruction of Zion Line and a safety study at County Road 8 and John Street will also be discussed.
