The council approved the 2026 Operating Budget, the 2026‑2030 five‑year Capital Plan, and the five‑year Operating Plan. It also authorized moving $2,213,293.69 from the 2025 surplus into reserve funds and approved a 2.5% mill‑rate increase for the 2026 taxation year. Additional items included an informational discussion on the Clean Energy Improvement Program and routine departmental reports.
