Protective Services Committee

Bighorn Corridor Environment Committee (BCEC)
The Bighorn Corridor Environment Committee reviewed industry updates regarding solar power, quarry blasting, and railway fire protection. Members also addressed community concerns regarding communication during recent wildfires and fugitive dust from the Lafarge plant.

The Subdivision and Development Appeal Board will hear an appeal of conditions attached to two development permits (DP 29/20 and DP 30/20) for a property in NW Sec. 26, TWP. 24, RGE. 8, W5M. The conditions require moving a tent storage structure, hay shelter, and bath/pumphouse into conforming positions. The hearing will be held electronically via Microsoft Teams due to COVID-19.
