Committee of Adjustment to hear seven minor variance applications for lakeside properties
The Township of Algonquin Highlands Committee of Adjustment will hold a public meeting to consider seven minor variance applications. The applications seek relief from zoning by-laws for properties on Oxtongue, Kawagama, and other lakes, involving requests such as increasing permitted gross floor area for a new dwelling, and other property-specific variances. Audition publique sur la modification du règlement de zonage pour une propriété du lac Kawagama
Le Conseil tiendra une réunion publique et procédera ultérieurement à un vote concernant une modification du règlement de zonage (Falkenberg) pour des terrains situés sur le lac Kawagama. Une séance de deux heures animée par l'EORN recueillera des avis sur l'abordabilité et la gouvernance à l'échelle de la communauté. Un règlement autorisant un accord de réponse de deux services d'incendie avec les municipalités voisines est soumis à approbation, ainsi qu'une nouvelle politique d'achat et la fermeture de plusieurs de concessions de rivage.
