Committee to decide Gibson consent and zoning amendment for new rural lot

We respectfully acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional territory of The
Treaty 3 and that the Indigenous peoples have cared for and protected this land for
generations before our families settled here.
We honor the Indigenous people of all First Nation, Métis, and Inuit peoples and we
recognize that we are stewards of this land and are grateful for a home where the soil
provides our food and the lakes and rivers provide fresh water. We feel fortunate to
enjoy activities such as fishing, hunting, exploring, and farming, which help us
appreciate the beauty and importance of this land.
We understand that we are on a learning journey, and we are committed to building
relationships with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities based on trust, respect,
and reciprocity. We are grateful for the opportunity to work together toward health
equity and a shared future.
