Le Comité directeur du traitement des eaux usées discute de la sensibilisation du Conseil de la Nation Haida et du Conseil de la bande de Skidegate concernant trois sites potentiels pour une usine de traitement des eaux usées et un possible raccordement au système de Skidegate. Une réunion publique est prévue le 25 mai afin de recueillir les commentaires de la communauté. Le comité recevra également une mise à jour du calendrier du projet de la part d'Urban Systems. Council adopts three key bylaws on taxes and financial planning

The Daajing Giids Council will adopt Bylaw 175-2026 (Recreation Parcel Tax Amendment), Bylaw 176-2026 (5‑Year Financial Plan), and Bylaw 177-2026 (Tax Rate) during the April 20, 2026 meeting. Council reads water rates amendment bylaw (Bylaw 172‑2026)

The Village of Daajing Giids Council will read for the third time several bylaws: the Civic Address and Street Naming Bylaw No. 171‑2026, the Water Rates amendment Bylaw No. 172‑2026, the Water Frontage amendment Bylaw No. 173‑2026, and the Sewer Rates amendment Bylaw No. 174‑2026. The water rates amendment removes Schedule A and sets new monthly rates for residential, commercial, and other uses.
