Special Session Council
Le Conseil demande des subventions provinciales en utilisant une réduction de 50 % des frais de développement résidentiel.
Le Conseil adoptera de nouvelles normes de service pour les départements financiers, informatiques et d'infrastructure. Il approuvera également une allocation de réserve de 50 000 $ pour le nettoyage sous contrat de sites de campements abandonnés. De plus, le Conseil votera sur une demande de programme provincial de réduction des frais de développement pour financer les améliorations des réseaux d'eau et d'eaux usées.

Legislative Requirement:
The Municipal Elections Act (the Act) requires every Ontario municipality to establish a
Compliance Audit Committee for each term of Council. The Committee acts as an
independent body with the responsibility and authority to review and investigate any
reported or alleged breaches of the campaign finance rules prescribed under the Act.
The Committee is separate from Council and does not take direction from or report to
elected officials. (Information about the prescribed role of the Committee is available

The Council adopted its agenda and received a series of informational reports. It approved the sale of approximately 9.0 acres of former CN Spur Line land north of Highway 401 to Millspring Farms Inc. for $100,000 and authorized the purchase of a 10‑meter wide, 900‑meter strip on Goodyear Road for an estimated $24,444.44. The meeting also approved a $859,974.43 surface‑treatment contract with Greenwood Paving and a $391,295.82 purchase of a Case WX160E rubber‑tire excavator.
