EDTF proposes removing SummerFest, WinterFest, Mural Project from work plan
The Economic Development Task Force is reviewing its 2026 work plan and recommending that several established initiatives be removed from its oversight, including SummerFest, WinterFest, the Mural Project, the National Tradesperson Day Breakfast, and the completed Community Improvement Plan. The task force proposes reassigning these programs to the Manager of Community Development and redirecting its efforts toward new economic development initiatives for 2027. The agenda also includes approval of the July 20, 2026 meeting notes and a draft work plan update.

Programme d'entrepreneuriat jeunesse renvoyé au groupe de travail pour enquête

Le Conseil tiendra une réunion publique pour entendre les commentaires sur une modification du règlement de zonage visant à rezoner un lot de 4,1 hectares situé au chemin Norway Lake, passant de « Limited Service Rural » à « Limited Service Waterfront ». Ils examineront également un projet de Plan d'amélioration communautaire (CIP) proposé et examineront les commentaires du public avant de le finaliser lors d'une réunion ultérieure.

Council will consider and vote on a zoning by-law amendment to change a property on Norway Lake Lane from Limited Service Rural to Limited Service Waterfront.
