And while the industrial proposal represents a permitted and viable use aligned with this employment and land objectives, so staff are very much in support of this industrial development being proposed there. So staff are recommending that the proposals not be considered in isolation, but rather an opportunity to be explored to consider a coordinated development on the site. The second is the site access. Staff are recommending that access from industrial road be explored as it would be better support long term industrial use of the property and reduce any construction and operational impacts on the adjacent residential properties along 7th Street Southwest. So if Council looks at the site plan, the current proposed entrances off 7th Street Southwest, whereas if we were to extend industrial park road, then we would have both the entrance for the new Ridgeway development as well as battery energy both come off industrial, which I think would be would alleviate any concerns with road construction or noise going through the residential area. It is important to note that the Municipality does have statutory obligations out of the Planning Act to process this application within some prescribed timelines. Refusal or delay could result in appeal to the Ontario land Tribunal, as well as we could have additional potential legal and consulting costs not recoverable by the Municip ality. And every year, Thank you. or something has happened uh somebody forgets their jersey they lost their jersey our stuff is on site it's easy to access uh we also want to do it still we want to do it with the main garage door we want to do this right if we're going to build a shed we don't want a little garbage shed we want something we can store jerseys in jerseys are not cheap jer seys are 40 50 a piece now so we said we want something that we can put them in a nice facility and know they are hopefully secure but at least we're thinking more for mold or anything like that and voted you'll probably still put them in a token but this is why we want an ins ulated bed um so the cost for this is not cheap it's sixteen thousand nine hundred dollars plus tax um this is for a prefabricated steel shed um and we did get we drafted quotes and the only one that we could find this peninsula sheds up in home sound were the only ones that would do steel a lot of the local ones will not be able to steal it's just wood they will not put a steel door uh an overhead door access i did talk to uh hatton home hardware locally to kind of give them a quote to kind of dissect it what they could do uh they gave me a verbal quote of twelve thousand dollars however this did not include delivery it did not food assembly so i feel like for that a little bit of extra money knowing it's built it's built by professionals and is being delivered it's worth it um we also kind of doing some more homew …

Council to consider zoning amendment for 132‑unit WT Land development

Mayor Hammell called the meeting to order at 9:00 am. A quorum was present.

Mayor's Announcements (If Required)
The counties of Bruce, Dufferin, Grey, and Wellington, together with
Saugeen Mobility and Regional Transit (SMART), are inviting residents to
share their transportation needs and priorities as part of a joint Regional
Transit Study.

A new study is exploring how to better connect and move residents across
all four counties. The study will assess if a unified transit network is
possible, with the goal of making travel easier for passengers, identifying
efficiencies through collaboration, and expanding transit service to areas
that currently have limited transportation option …
