✓ Décisions: Council approves zero-tolerance enforcement for off-leash dogs

Council approved the Zero Tolerance Enforcement Policy (By-law 2026-01) and designated the off-leash dog rule (Section 10.1 of the Responsible Pet Ownership By-law) under it, following 25 warnings issued since May 13, 2026. Council also approved a $122/hour commercial rental rate for the Centennial Aquatic Centre effective August 1, 2026, with a CPI-adjusted rate for 2027. A motion was carried directing staff to better utilize the 31 Huron Street and Leisure Time Club parking lots in collaboration with the BIA. Council also endorsed a letter supporting the FCM Big City Mayors' Caucus Vibrant Downtowns initiative.

Trails and Active Transportation Advisory Committee
