Council approves up to $51,600 in Housing Accelerator Fund for five homes

NEW BUSINESS   4.1 Build Communities Strong Fund   The Town of Gander is advancing Phase 1 of the Regional Event and Active Living Infrastructure Plan, which builds upon the Events and Wellness Centre Feasibility Study previously completed by Colliers Project Leaders.   As part of this work, the Town intends to submit an Expression of Interest under the federal Build Communities Strong Fund (BCSF). The submission requires detailed technical documentation, including preliminary design, cost estimates, and supporting project information to meet funding criteria.   Colliers Project Leaders has submitted a proposal to provide professional services to support the development of the Expression of Interest, including coordination of architectural, engineering, and cost consulting inputs.   The cost of this project is 100% funded by the Canada Community Building Fund.
