There is no secret our Irish roots run deep. Irish Immigrants came to this area beginning
in the early 1800’s. Lucan was likely named Lucan, reflecting the strong Irish
background of those early settlers. It also likely connects to Lord Lucan. He was a

The Biddulph Blanshard Fire Board will appoint Ron DeBrouwer as Chief and restore Brian Bates as Acting Deputy Chief. The meeting will also cover the approval of payables and the review of the 2025 budget versus actuals.

Council to consider zoning bylaw amendments for Housing Accelerator Fund provisions

DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST & NATURE THEREOF
The Municipal Conflict of Interest Act requires any member of Council declaring a pecuniary interest and the general nature thereof, where the interest of a member of Council has not been disclosed by reason of the member’s absence from the meeting, to disclose the interest at the first open meeting attended by the member of Council and otherwise comply with the Act.

Mayor C. Burghardt-Jesson called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm and began with
reciting the Township of Lucan Biddulph Indigenous land acknowledgment statement.
