Council to consider drainage projects and a land consent application

Thames Centre Council will meet to discuss the Roulston Drain and a land consent application for Lots 11 and 12, Concession 2 North Dorchester. The body will also consider a new policy on the use of corporate resources during elections and a facility rental agreement for the Middlesex County Archives.

Council reviews 2026 Operating and Capital Budget, to be adopted next meeting

The council will receive Report No. CAO-002-26 – 2026 Budget and a copy of the Proposed 2026 Operating and Capital Budget as of Jan 12 2026. They will direct staff to bring forward a by‑law to adopt the 2026 budget at the February 9 regular council meeting. The agenda also includes a closed‑session training on the Planning Act and routine items such as agenda approval and scheduling. No other decisions are scheduled.

EAC receives Natural Asset Valuation presentation for forestry planning

The Environmental Advisory Committee will approve its agenda and receive the December 9, 2025 minutes. It will receive a presentation on Natural Asset Valuation to support asset management and forestry planning. Staff reports on the Healing Forest and Memorial Forest will be received for information, along with a council resolution on sustainable waste management.
