At its September 16, 2026 Public Planning Meeting, Council held statutory public meetings on five items: the Downtown Heritage Conservation District, two development applications on Tenth Line (Northcape and Acorn North and South), a Zoning By-law Amendment at 13969 Kennedy Road, and a Zoning By-law Amendment at 12612 and 12586 Woodbine Avenue. For each item, Council carried a motion referring all public and agency comments to staff for inclusion in a future report on the disposition of the matter. No development approvals, denials, or zoning decisions were made. Council also approved the June 3, 2026 Public Planning Meeting minutes, adopted the amended agenda, and passed Confirmatory By-law 2026-075-MS.

Today's meeting will be live streamed and video recording will be made available online following the meeting at townofws.ca slash council calendar. The public or advised if they wish to provide verbal comments to items listed on the agenda and they may contact the council committee coordinator at clerks at townofws.ca. I will ask the committee coordinator to confirm attendance for today. All members of the committee are present. Thank you ma'am. With that I will call the meeting to order with the town land acknowledgement. The town of Woodridge-Sylville acknowled ges this land is a treaty territory of the Williams Treaty First Nations. It is also the traditional territory of other international Abbey peoples. The Wendat and the Haudenosaunee. We also recognize the contributions of all Indigenous peoples to this place and commit to a continued dialogue and greater respect for the land we have come to share.
