Council to consider a new cemetery by-law for town‑operated cemeteries.

The council will receive report CAO-002-26 on a new cemetery by-law, discuss standards for maintenance of town‑operated cemeteries, and direct staff to forward By‑law 2026‑17‑RE to the Registrar for approval. Village of Stouffville Advisory Committee

Committee approves $15 fee and dates for Ladies Night events

Council approves $296,500 funding for sidewalk winter maintenance contract

Council Meeting

Council to consider by‑law changes for lame‑duck period authority

The council will adopt several consent‑agenda items, including a by‑law amendment that would allow the CAO and Treasurer to approve extra funding for capital projects during the lame‑duck period after nomination day. Special Council Meeting

Council to consider Confirmatory By-law 2026-001-MS

Heritage Advisory Committee

Heritage Committee reviews Main Street recommendations and museum grant support

The Heritage Advisory Committee will adopt its October 10, 2025 minutes and approve the 2026 meeting schedule. It will consider a draft letter supporting the Whitchurch‑Stouffville Museum’s application to the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage Program. The committee will review the 6383‑6395 Main Street Recommendations Report. An announcement of upcoming heritage projects will also be made.
