Council to award $786,044 contract for Riverside Avenue watermain upgrade

The council will consider several bylaws, a lease renewal, and a watermain upgrade contract. Zoning Amendment Bylaw No.1127 for 1095 Shuswap Avenue will receive first, second, and third readings. Zoning Amendment Bylaw No.1125 for 222 Mara Lake Lane will be adopted, and Wildlife Attractant Bylaw No.1080 will receive a first reading. Council adopts 2026 tax rates bylaw for District of Sicamous

The council adopted District of Sicamous Tax Rates Bylaw No. 1121, 2026. It approved a contract for a compact track loader with Brandt Tractor Ltd. for $82,385 and a road‑paving program with Terus Construction costing up to $300,000 for paving and $120,000 for hot‑patching. Several development variance permits, a minor development permit, a watercourse development permit, and a bylaw enforcement officer appointment were also approved.
