Council approves $947,068 waste‑water aggregate contract and key zoning changes
Council will give first and second reading to Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1118, 2026 for 222 Temple Street to permit short‑term rentals in up to 15 units. The council will approve three‑year renewals of temporary use permits for short‑term rentals at 1214 Martinson Avenue, 1410 Boutwell Avenue and 1321 Rauma Avenue, and amend the Rauma Avenue permit to allow year‑round use and remove a $500 security deposit. The council will also authorize a watercourse development permit for 21, 1383 Silver Sands Road, adopt Civic Address Change Compensation Policy No. D‑11, award a $947,068 + GST aggregate supply contract to Sicamous Concrete and Gravel, and award a $57,291‑per‑year janitorial services contract to Bee Clean Building Maintenance for a two‑year term.
