Definitions:
For the purpose of this TUP, FOOD TRUCK(S) shall be defined as:
A vehicle or mobile trailer with a maximum length of 12.2 m, from which

Conditions of Use:
a) All food trucks shall apply for a Sun Peaks business license. Operation of a food

THAT, Council adopt Water Service and Rates Amendment Bylaw No. 0136-006,
2026.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this report is to present Water Service and Rates Amendment Bylaw No. 0136-006,
2026 for final adoption by Council.
SUMMARY:
Water Service and Rates Amendment Bylaw No. 0136-006, 2026 received first and second readings,
and third readings at the February 10, 2026, Council meetings. The bylaw reflects Council’s approved
five-year rate strategy and implements the 2026 water rate adjustments effective January 1, 2026.
Final adoption of the bylaw is required to implement the approved rates and proceed with 2026 utility
billing.

RECOMMENDATION:
Subject to public input at the public hearing: That Council authorize issuance of Temporary Use
Permit No. TUP-2025-005 for 1328 Burfield Dr (legally described as Strata Lot B District Lot
5957, KDYD EPS4902) subject to the following conditions in accordance with Sun Peaks Resort
Municipality Bylaws and policies:
Term:
Council can approve a term of up to 3 years.
Manager:
An on-mountain manager must be provided.
Auxiliary Dwelling: The principal dwelling unit cannot be used for Tourist Accommodation.
Guests:
Occupancy of the auxiliary dwelling is limited to 2.
Inspections:
The Resort Municipality may carry out random inspections.
Fees:
The owner must comply wi …

Council to adopt Building Regulation Amendment Bylaw No.0233, 2026
Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality council will approve the minutes from the December 16, 2025 meeting and review several staff reports, including a water pipeline cost update. The council will consider a Notice of Intent and possible Temporary Use Permit for 1328 Burfield Drive. It will also vote on the Delegation of Authority Bylaw No. 232, Procurement Policy No. 34, and the Building Regulation Amendment Bylaw No. 0233, 2026.
