Council to consider temporary use permit for food trucks at Village Way
The Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality will hold a public hearing to decide whether to issue Temporary Use Permit TUP-2026-001 for food trucks at 3200 and 3315 Village Way. Staff recommends authorizing the permit for a term of up to three years, subject to conditions such as business licensing, fire inspection, insurance and operating hours. No property‑owner submissions were received. The decision will determine if food trucks can operate during special events at the Sun Peaks Centre.

PURPOSE:
The purpose of this report is to present Water Service and Rates Amendment Bylaw No. 0136-006,
2026 for final adoption by Council.
SUMMARY:
Water Service and Rates Amendment Bylaw No. 0136-006, 2026 received first and second readings,
and third readings at the February 10, 2026, Council meetings. The bylaw reflects Council’s approved
five-year rate strategy and implements the 2026 water rate adjustments effective January 1, 2026.
Final adoption of the bylaw is required to implement the approved rates and proceed with 2026 utility
billing.

THAT Council authorize distribution of a Notice of Intent to consider
Temporary Use Permit No. TU-2025-005 for 1328 Burfield Drive (legally
described as Strata Lot B District Lot 5957, KDYD EPS4902).
Further, following issuance of the Notice of Intent for TU-2025-005,
that Council consider issuance of the Temporary Use Permit subject to
the following conditions in accordance with Sun Peaks Resort
