LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We are meeting today on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee
peoples. Tyendinaga Township Council acknowledges our shared obligation to
respect, honour and sustain these lands and the natural resources contained
within. We honour their cultures and celebrate their commitment to this land.
We would also like to acknowledge the Mohawk nation whose traditional and
unceded territory we are gathered upon today. Tyendinaga Township is
situated on treaty land that is steeped in rich Indigenous history and home to
the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte.

ADOPTION OF AGENDA
Recommendation:
That the Council of the Township of Tyendinaga accept the
agenda as presented.
5.
DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST
The Municipal Conflict of Interest Act requires any member of Council declaring
a pecuniary interest and the general nature thereof, where the interest of a
member of Council has not been disclosed by reason of the member’s absence
from the meeting, to disclose the interest at the first open meeting attended
by the member of Council and to otherwise comply with the Act.
