Council weighs video streaming at rec centre; water tower update set for July 8
Deseronto's Regular Council met June 24 to consider a proposal to install a LiveBarn automated video streaming system at the Deseronto Community Recreation Centre. Under the proposal, the Deseronto & District Minor Hockey Association would manage the system and keep all revenue generated. No minutes from that meeting have been published, so no decisions are confirmed yet. Other items on the June 24 agenda included a fire protection services agreement with Napanee, the Deseronto Water Financial Plan for 2026–2031, a review of the Municipal Capital Facility designation for 331 Dundas Street, and a council remuneration report.
