Revelstoke council agendas: golf clubhouse, food security funding, advisory merger
Revelstoke council and committee meetings held over the past two weeks were all agenda-only, with minutes not yet published. Council meeting (Aug. 11)
Council held a public hearing and considered readings of two bylaws affecting 1795 Nichol Road, owned by Northland Properties Corporation. The proposed changes would alter the Official Community Plan and zoning to allow a clubhouse and golf maintenance facility for the Cabot Golf Course par 3 course. The agenda included:
- Public hearing and readings for OCP Amendment Bylaw No. 2444 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2445.
- Adoption of Council Procedure Amendment Bylaw No. 2446.
- First, second, and third reading of Development Cost Charges Amendment Bylaw No. 2448.

Special Council (Aug. 13)
This meeting was largely procedural, with the main item being a move to an in-camera (closed) session under sections 90.1(e), 90.1(k), and 90.2(b)(i) of the Community Charter. The closed session covered potential land acquisition, disposition, or expropriation, and preliminary negotiations for a proposed municipal service.
