Brighton Public Library Board
The Brighton Public Library Board will receive the 2025 audit presentation from Baker Tilly, review the CEO report for May/June 2026, and discuss financial statements. Policy updates include OP-12 on General Facility Use and OP-19 on The Library and Political Elections.

Heritage Advisory Committee

Council Meeting
Council will consider adopting the Brighton Secondary Plan (Area Wide Efficient Land Use Plan) as an official plan amendment. Northumberland OPP Detachment Board
The board will review Ontario Provincial Police reports from May 2026 and discuss updates regarding the PGO Spring Conference. The meeting includes a discussion with the Northumberland County Director of Public Works.

Applefest Steering Committee

Council PLANNING Meeting
Council will hold statutory public meetings on consent applications and an official plan amendment for 400 Chatten Road. They will also consider adoption of the Brighton Secondary Plan (Area Wide Efficient Land Use Plan), approve $25,600 in community improvement plan funding for four properties, and authorize a farmland lease rate increase to $55/acre. Several pre-servicing and part-lot control exemption agreements for subdivisions are also on the agenda.
