Natural Environment Protection (NEP) Task Force
The Natural Environment Protection Task Force will review and potentially endorse updated guidelines for protecting local wetlands and riparian areas. The proposed changes establish stricter development setbacks, integrate stormwater management standards, and align with provincial conservation rules. Committee members will also receive routine updates from assessment, education, and administration teams.

Parks & Recreation Committee
The Parks & Recreation Committee will discuss and potentially endorse updates to the Naming of Streets and Public Areas Policy, addressing alignment with current practices and removing improper in-camera clauses. Cochrane Library Board

Regular Council
Council will vote on whether to transfer municipal land worth $4.724 million for affordable housing to the Cochrane Society for Housing Options (CSHO). Staff recommend declining the transfer and continuing lease-based alternatives. Also on the agenda: a delegation from the public library, budget engagement for 2027-2029, and a draft of budget principles for 2027.
