Regular Session Council

Council is deciding on the continuation and funding of public transit services through a partnership with Deseronto. The body is also reviewing mandates for several advisory committees and a contract for waste disposal site engineering.

Arts Advisory Committee

The committee will vote on the appointment of its chair for the 2025 term. It will discuss whether to continue the Music by the River series or allocate its funds to the yearly Arts & Culture Awards. Municipal Heritage Committee

The Municipal Heritage Committee will make recommendations to Council on the historical street name proposals that have been verified. It will also discuss a $6,500 application for a provincial heritage plaque for John Stevenson, which requires Council endorsement. Additional items include planning for Heritage Week (Feb 17‑23 2025) and Ontario Doors Open in 2026.

Regular Session Council

Greater Napanee Council will consider approving the 2025 utilities operating and capital budgets, three zoning by-law amendments, and proposed increases to cemetery fees. The meeting also includes reports on water quality, road maintenance, and the purchase of a new library furnace.

Committee of Adjustment

The Committee of Adjustment will receive a technical report and decide whether to approve a lot addition application (PLLA 2024 061) that would add 674 m² to an existing 522 m² parcel owned by Joseph Craven at 20 Oke Road. The Committee will also consider a minor variance application (PLVAR 2024 062) requesting a reduced minimum lot area of 0.11 ha and a reduced side‑yard setback of 1.15 m for the same property. The agenda, minutes, and disclosure statements will be adopted as procedural items.

Special Session Council
