Council will receive and decide on a technical memorandum for water treatment plant optimization to remove dissolved organic matter, potentially directing further seasonal sampling over one year. Other decisions include approving a $59,918.48 patrol unit purchase, setting a $313,000 reserve bid for a tax sale property, and advancing a land use bylaw amendment for a zoning change. Council will also direct staff to draft restrictions on new alcohol retail stores near community use areas and initiate public engagement on cannabis and liquor retail setbacks.
