Events Committee
Committee to review draft Special Events Policy for community events
The Events Committee will discuss and potentially endorse a new draft Special Events Policy that sets rules for events on Village property. They will also receive updates on four special event applications (Kaslo Block Party, Kootenay Konnects, Kootenay Mushroom Festival, Kaslo Wild Ultra Race) as information items. Additionally, the committee will consider a resolution to apply for a $500 grant from the Columbia Basin Trust to support Kaslo's Birthday Party on August 14, 2026.

Council will adopt a $4,000 community grant and approve several routine items
The Village of Kaslo Council will adopt the Elections Procedure Bylaw No. 1337, 2026 and adopt the 2025 Annual Municipal Report. It will consider a $4,000 Community Development Grant for Kaslo Community Services' Holiday Hamper program. The Council will also change Library Building Committee appointments and authorize attendance at the 2026 Union of BC Municipalities Convention in Vancouver.
