Council approved the removal of the holding zone for Place St. Laurent Phase 5, allowing development, and recommended final approval of the draft plan of subdivision to the United Counties. It also approved a three-year extension for the Purcell Subdivision draft plan, delegated authority to the Treasurer for tax extensions, and endorsed in principle an agreement with Cascara Energy/CIAO Internet for municipal access and franchise agreements.

Council approved a subsidized purchase of 100 FoodCycler units for a household organic waste pilot program, funded from Waste Management Reserves. It also awarded the Airport Road Public Works Facility site works tender to Malyon Excavation for $525,000 plus HST. Several zoning by-law amendments were passed, including for A.L. MacDonald Grocery Ltd. and Leger properties, and a by-law was adopted to enter into a crossing agreement with the Rimann farm. Council also endorsed in principle a Municipal Accommodation Tax for short-term rentals and directed staff to develop a policy.
