Waste authority to vote on 2027 landfill tipping fees and 5-year management agreement extension
The West Yellowhead Regional Waste Management Authority meets September 28, 2026 at the Best Western Conference Room in Hinton. The board will consider 2027 tipping fees for domestic waste, a five-year extension of its management agreement with Yellowhead County, and the 2027 interim operating and capital budget. It will also receive reports on GFL Environmental Inc. services and the Solid Waste Manager's report, and meet in closed session for a CAO update.

Heritage board to decide on $5,000 grant for Hinton museum and sign designs
