Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Board

The FCSS Board will vote on a proposal from Moving Edson and Area for non-emergent medical transportation, with three service levels: Edson Catchment, Expanded Regional, and Full Service Area. Agricultural Services Board

The Yellowhead County Agricultural Services Board will review and recommend approval for several agricultural policies, including coyote control and weed management, and approve grant funding for local organizations like the 4-H District Council and Agricultural Society.

Yellowhead County Recreation Board

The Yellowhead County Recreation Board is meeting to establish clearer principles for grant eligibility based on facility location and function. The board will also decide on several funding requests for local community associations and festivals.

Governance and Priorities Committee Meeting

The committee will hear a presentation on homelessness in Edson and Yellowhead County, including proposed transitional housing. They will also decide on selling 15 county-owned parcels identified as high potential for sale, and receive a planning department update on permits and enforcement.
