Council to vote on new development, redistricting at Monday meeting
Leduc council will hold a public hearing and vote Monday on the NW34 Outline Plan, a proposed new development that could bring housing or commercial space to the northwest sector of the city. The meeting also includes final readings of a bylaw to redistrict the North Bridgeport Phase 1 and 2 area, along with several budget items and grant approvals.
Recent meeting: June 22
At the council meeting on June 22, the agenda included first reading of Bylaw No. 1254-2026 to redistrict North Bridgeport Phase 1 and 2. Presentations were scheduled on the RCMP Community Safety Plan, a Leduc Transit update, and pre-budget sessions for both operating and capital budgets for 2027. The meeting also went into closed session for a negotiation update and a community group request. Minutes from that meeting have not yet been published, so official decisions on those items are not available.
