Council to vote on $865K engineering contract for wastewater plant upgrades
Council will decide whether to award a $865,000 contract to R.J. Burnside & Associates for engineering services to upgrade the aging Ignace Water Pollution Control Plant. Council to consider Indigenous Reconciliation Policy and hire dedicated treasurer
Council will vote on several by-laws including an Indigenous Reconciliation Policy and a R-Zone Policy, receive the 2026 budget update, and decide on hiring a dedicated treasurer. Delegations from the Ignace Golf Course and Lionel Cloutier are scheduled. A closed session will address property matters, litigation, and contract negotiations.
