Peterborough County OPP Detachment Board Meeting
Board to consider resolution urging province for municipality-specific OPP policing data
The Peterborough County OPP Detachment Board will consider a resolution to advocate for municipality-level breakdowns in OPP detachment reports, enhancing transparency for local policing costs and activities. The board will also approve the 2025 annual report, create a Policy Development Committee, and appoint members to it. A request for speed reduction on County Road 1 will be discussed, and $4,000 from the reserve fund is proposed for board members to attend the Police Governance Ontario conference.
