The purpose of a Public Planning Meeting is to inform the public and to provide interested persons and agencies with an opportunity to make submissions in a public forum with respect to certain planning-related applications. All comments received at Public Planning Meetings will be considered by the Planning and Development Department as part of its review and analysis of applications. If issues arise at the Public Meeting that are not immediately resolved, a summary of the issues, along with a final recommendation on the application will follow by way of a future Planning and Development Report. The purpose of a Public Planning Meeting is to inform the public and to provide interested persons and agencies with an opportunity to make submissions in a public forum with respect to certain planning-related applications. All comments received at Public Planning Meetings will be considered by the Planning and Development Department as part of its review and analysis of applications. If issues arise at the Public Meeting that are not immediately resolved, a summary of the issues, along with a final recommendation on the application will follow by way of a future Planning and Development Report. If, however, all issues are resolved, a by-law to amend the Zoning By-law or Official Plan will be brought forward for Council’s consideration at a subsequent Regular Council Meeting.
