Thank you. Can I get a mover? Thank you. I just want to mention as well that we have Mr. Justin, lawyer on the line with us. So welcome as well. And Ronnie from Public Works. Go ahead. Did you want to say something, Matt? Go ahead. Thank you, Mr. Mayor. Before we let, if it's okay with yourself and Council, before we let Melissa, I just want to do a bit of background that following a resolution from Council on June 15th, the staff retained the qualified, certified playground safety inspector, as you said, Mr. Mayor, to evaluate the three playgrounds, Mark Stay Warren and Hagar. So this was a proactive measure by Council to look at the facilities, the conditions of the municipal playground equipment against any requirements for CSA Z614-20, the playground safety space and equipment standards. So the inspections were done, looked at maintenance, repairs, safety deficiencies on all of the three playground s. As we know, the Mark Stay playground was installed 11 years ago, and you know, it was in good condition. But there's some routine maintenance that we'll talk about tonight. But obviously, the Warren and Hagar playgrounds were notified as they were originally installed , and they needed Council's attention. So I just wanted to give the background where it led from June 15th. And tonight, as you said, Mr. Mayor, we're looking at evaluating Mark Stay Warren and Hagar. And we could ask Melissa to do the presentation on these three, and then Council will ask questions. Yeah. Than [Excerpt truncated on this listing page; use the official record for the full text.]

Thank you. Can I get a mover to approve the agenda as presented? Councillor Evans and Councillor Bolin. All in favour? Carried. Thank you. Is there any disclosure in your interest? Thank you. All in favour. Thank you, Mr. Thank you, Mr. Palmer, I'll just ask you to press the button. I live on 1717 Radar Lake Road, and my concern tonight is to do with the big sport coming in pickleball. We have... It's become a big sport with all kinds of people all over the place right now. Last year, I got the approval from, let's say, the office here to paint the courts inside of the ice rink. Well, I spent like $600 of my own money last year to do them, and it's... Well, they should be done again and should be done with more paint. Plus, we have one big crack inside the concrete, which is getting to be a little bit of a problem. Nobody wants to play on that area whatsoever. Plus, there's chunks of concrete that is out of that area, too. I'm just wondering whether or not there is possibly any kind of funds or whatnot so that the courts can be rep ainted from what they were like last year, and maybe some kind of a membrane or filler to be put inside that crack so there wouldn't be a problem with any injury type of thing. And what a... Like, they have... We are not the only ones. They play ball hockey there, too. And the cracks are getting to be a good half-inch wide. And in case one of the kids would happen to get a stick caught in them, it's a possibility that something could happen. And I' [Excerpt truncated on this listing page; use the official record for the full text.]
