c) New Resident Welcome Event - Discussion
As you may recall last fall our most recent one had no one show up from the
community as a new resident. Previous years have ranged from about 10 to 30,
with the time of year adjusted from January to now being held in mid/late
September or early October. We did suggest that we would try it for another year
but would like the committee to think about: Is this worth continuing? What time
of year do you think is best? Is there something that could be offered at it that
would make it more attractive to attend?

Official Plan/Zoning and Development Bylaw – Verbal Update
Town staff, council and the consultants continue to work together following the

do not have firm information we can share yet, it is looking like we will have the
next drafts and public meeting date available very soon for review in May and
June. We encourage the committee to stay informed and watch for that information
so you can participate.
