Position - Community Services
Anne Marie Shaw addressed the Committee on the above noted report. She noted the
modernization initiatives that are being mandated by the province. There are initiatives
related to IT, data management and compliance monitoring. The province has planned
phased implementation and Grey County will work with child care providers to
implement.
The position will also work across the Community Services department as a whole, and
can assist with housing and homelessness statistics and data and further reporting to
the province.

consensus-building to support meaningful change and support decision making
structure. She referred to the 2026/2027 strategy as dictated by the Province and the
focus on Primary Care Access and Attachment, Integrated Clinical Priorities, and OHT
Capacity Building. She referenced the Interprofessional Care Team (IPCT) Expansion
to focus on connecting individuals to a Primary Care Team. In response to questions,
she highlighted the importance of advocating and the requirement of infrastructure to
