Mayor Quibell called the meeting to order at 6:04 pm.
Mayor Quibell read a statement acknowledging the tragedy in Tumbler Ridge and
extending condolences to the students, families, educators, first responders, and all those
affected. The Mayor noted the close ties between rural communities and encouraged
anyone struggling to reach out for support. Council observed a moment of silence.
