Thank you. We're already midway. Thank you. And then again in wasn't it time direct wasn't staff directed in it was it May this year to March or May sorry to yeah March May sorry to also introduce or to adopt this you know the idea of a lens to to apply to any done anything that the city does any decisions that we make. Yes through you chair to the councilor I can't speak specifically to the 2019 declaration I would agree that as this subcommittee of the advisory committee have come forward they have brought these this request for when there is the regular review of the council template that a climate lens be brought to the work and specifically a greenhouse gas emissions perspective or lens. And I would say yes in in their May report they had some idea and some recommendation get did come forward as they worked through their work plan over the last two years they 've kind of refined what they in you know envision for. A new template for council and so they understand that as their turn comes to a close they want to park this request with staff to consider as part of the regular review process this framework. It isn't currently a part of our council template and that 's really what they're seeking is that it potentially be considered as part of our current template. So while there have been threads in the past of the request they haven't been yet embedded and I think that that's really the thread that they're carrying through and placing before you today. So if we approve thi …

Good afternoon, everyone. Welcome to our August Heritage Kitchener meeting. And we have a very short agenda, so that's our reward for working quickly during the summer. First of all, I wonder if there are any pecuniary interests. Seeing none, we'll continue on. And our first item is 4.1, Notice of Intention to Designate, 87 Margaret Avenue. Victoria Gruen, Heritage Planner, will make a presentation. And I don't see any delegations here so far. So, Victoria. Thank you, Madam Chair. Heritage Kitchener and Council previously provided direction to formally initiate the Notice of Intention to Designate process. For 87 Margaret Avenue. 87 Margaret Avenue is a three-storey, mid-20th century brick apartment building constructed in the vernacular style of architecture with modest Georgian revival influences. Our review concluded that the property meets five criteria for designation, including design physical value, historical associative value, and contextual values. The design physical value relates to the building that is a representative example of wartime vernacular brick apartment architecture with simplified Georgian revival influences. The building is characterized by its simple symmetrical massing, central entrance bay with subtle projection, and shallow pitched roof. The building also features a rectangular pla …

Thank you. of pecuniary interest. There being none, we'll move right into the agenda, item 4. 1, the 2025 Audited, Consolidated Financial Statements. And I will invite Greg Damasio from our finance area to begin with a presentation followed by a presentation from Matthew Bedek and Fatima Mansour from KPMG, our public auditors. And then we will take questions. So we'll begin with Greg. Welcome, Greg. Thank you for having me here today to present the 2025 Aud ited Financial Statements. Just a quick note before we begin. The City's Consolidated Financial Statements along with the statements of various consolidated entities are included as attachment B to today's report. Today we'll be discussing some of the key highlights from those statements. For today's presentation, I'll start by going over some reminders of how the audited financial statements differ from the budget variance reporting provided throughout the year. I'll then provide an update on the City's key financial indicators as laid out in the City's long-term financial plan. After that, I'll turn the presentation over to KPMG to have them present the findings of their audit. In March, Council received a staff report that presented the financial results for the year ended December 31st, 2025, specifically for the tax-based …
