Unfortunately, we had to cancel all the large bouncy cast les because if they decided that they were going to collapse , they'd collapse on whoever's inside. So we thought we didn't like that idea and thought Ashley wouldn't let us have them anyways. But we, it was a great time. I mean, we had so much cake and so many people there. And even through the heat, it was perfect. The second thing that's going on in Port Franks right now is that we have a children's camp happening up in the Optim us Hall. And they're on, I guess this is day three. And they are having a blast because we had also the seniors picnic downstairs and we could hear them running around upstairs. So it …

Council to approve $3.36M police cost in 2026 budget

The Lambton Shores Council will approve the agenda and hold a closed session before receiving several staff reports. It will include the Police Service cost of $3,357,394 in the 2026 operating budget, approve an $84,230 fire protection grant and related agreement, and fund $66,738.60 for small community vibrancy projects. The council will also read and pass By-Laws 01-2026 and 02-2026 and adopt the 2026 Mayor's Budget.
